My school had a lot of Dallas and Louisiana folks and since I love to dance I got to really live through that era. Now I want to bring that energy back but not just Texas or Louisiana jig, I want to tap into the common thread of dance that runs across all our cultures.
The jig did not start with Yung Nation blowing up around 2007, it goes back generations. It is ancestral. So we are going to jig, boogie, bounce, gangsta walk, get hyphy, juking, Memphis jookin, footwork, whine, twerk, whatever moves you got bring them because we gotta bring back jigging.
